People's Bank, Sri Lanka
2021 — PresentTook on full strategy and P&L ownership for cards inside a matrixed state bank, arriving as Sri Lanka entered its deepest macroeconomic crisis in decades. Designed and executed a multi-year growth roadmap, expanded the merchant acceptance estate, negotiated a long-term scheme marketing program, advised government ministries on digital-economy partnerships, and spearheaded the LankaPay–UnionPay co-badged national card program.
Seylan Bank PLC
2016 — 2021Owned the full cards P&L across issuance and merchant acquiring. Launched World Mastercard and Visa Signature to establish a competitive premium position, and built a dedicated product management unit with an embedded data analytics team.
Pan Asia Banking Corporation PLC
2013 — 2015Created Sri Lanka's first no-frills, low-cost premium card — the 'Black Mastercard' (Titanium category) — a product–market fit play for value-conscious premium customers.
EXIM Bank (Tanzania) Limited
2010 — 2012Ran complete offshore card operations — 51 ATMs, 22 branches, 25 offsite units — with full P&L responsibility for a US$100M asset portfolio. Built a closed-loop merchant acquiring model for 16 National Wildlife Parks and launched the market's first value-added Debit Mastercard.
